Summer Season 2014

Every Friday night is outing night! (Subject to there NOT being horizontal rain!).  Turn up at the club ready for a 7.30pm start WITH your camera and we will decide on the night where to go.  First outing this Friday.

Looking for more formal instruction?  Then Matt's 'Photography - back to Basics' night on 23 May is for you.  7.30pm in the clubhouse for some instruction followed by a practical photography session where you put into practice what you've learned.  This session is designed to get you off the auto setting!

Prospective members are also welcome!

Prospective members, feel free to call in - drop us an e mail first if you can and we'll make sure there is someone there to welcome you.

There were some excellent images on show from members.  The winner was John McCue with this set of 4 images.

Well done to John and Bill and thanks to all the members who entered and everyone who attended to hear the feedback.  Thanks again to Gemma and Karen for doing the hard part - the judging!

Inverclyde Camera Club Season Winners 2012-13

Congratulations to this years club winners who entered excellent pictures for the club competitions.

View from Cardwell Bay

This was taken on a cold day a couple of weeks ago with a view across the River Clyde

Prize-giving Night 2012

There was an enjoyable evening on Friday for our Annual Prize-giving night.

A big thanks to John McCue for taking the pictures of the prize winners which are available on our Facebook page.

Remember that we will be still meeting over the summer months in the clubhouse and hope to organise day out for members to take photos.

Spring Colour

Light & colour combined to make the little plaza at the Custom House look very attractive.

Slides Lamp

Here is an idea for all those old slides we have lying around.

I saw this for sale for £144.99 so it would be cheap to make ourselves...but could you do this to your old memories?

Ardmore Point

This was taken on a dull wet day in Port Glasgow.

After the storm

For those not on Facebook, here are a couple of post-storm pictures showing how the gales moved containers at the terminal around like kids' building blocks.

Don't forget that this Friday is the start of the new season.

This should be a great season with (possibly) plenty of pictures of the Tall Ships, contributions from our club members and a good batch of visiting speakers.

See you all and hopefully some new members at 7.30pm.
