25 September - Mark Medcalf

Our first lecturer of the season was Mark Medcalf and what a fabulous set of images he presented to us.  Image after image depicting excellent wildlife shots and then some instruction on how best to achieve these results ourselves.  Well, we will certainly try, but Mark is a hard act to follow!  Here is his website;

GDPU Away match with Hamilton

I'm happy to post that Inverclyde CC won the last GDPU tie with Hamilton.  It was VERY close right through and we came out on top by just a few points with Hamilton submitting some very strong images.  There was some very good judging by George Neilston ARPS.  Hamilton made our members very welcome on the night and we would like to extend our thanks.

GDPU Home Match with Beith

Last Friday saw our second inter-club competition of the season, this time against Beith at home.  Bob Collins did a great job judging and at half time there were only a few points in it.  Inverclyde eventually came out on top.  Thanks to the Beith members who drove down to support the night and share some tea and cake with us at half time.
